Valéria Bartková: Latin for Students of the UVMPh

Textbooks  Valéria Bartková:  Latin  for Students of the UVMPh provide students with basic minimum of Latin grammar that is necessary to master in one semester. Because of almost no knowledge of Latin language the textbooks adhere to the principle of proceeding from the simplest to the more complex grammar structure, which allow students to understand and mount medical terms more easily. The structure of each lesson corresponds with learning processes of students during their study: A – grammar, B – vocabulary, C – exercises. Students can apply the knowledge gained by studying the basics of Latin grammar especially in the study of anatomy, but also in professional veterinarian career, because English Veterinary terminology is based on Latin terminology.
